Step 5 - Assured Income and AccessAbility Supports

Have you completed the financial assessment?

You answered "no".

Here is the information you will need to complete the financial assessment

During the financial assessment, it is necessary for you to report all sources of income for your household and all assets you own. This step will determine if you meet the financial requirements for Assured Income and if you are required to pay for a portion of any services you receive through AccessAbility Supports.

If you qualify for Assured Income or are under the age of 18, you will be exempt and will not have to pay for a portion of the resources provided through AccessAbility Supports.

If you are eligible to receive AccessAbility Supports but do not meet the financial requirements for Assured Income, you will be required to pay for a portion of the resources provided. The amount you will need to pay will be determined through a financial assessment calculation for you and the members of your household.

Important information about benefits for Indigenous Peoples

If you are Indigenous there are many things that affect the benefits you can get and the dollar amounts you can get from them. These include the agreements your band or governing body has with provincial, territorial, and federal governments. Before applying to any benefits, you should speak with your governing body, if applicable.
