If your application is denied, you will receive a letter that tells you why your application was denied. If you have additional information that would change this decision or you think the decision should be changed, you can appeal the decision. These include the agreements your band or governing body has with provincial, territorial, and federal governments. Before applying to any benefits, you should speak with your governing body, if applicable.
