How to apply

Here are the steps you can follow to apply for disability benefits under the QPP. Click ‘Start step 1’ at the bottom of this page. This will take you to step one. At the bottom of each page there will be a “Next” button you can click once you have completed that step. If you have already completed a step, you can skip it. Go ahead and start by clicking on the step where you would like to start.

You can go through the steps at your own pace. If you need help at any step, go to the Help page to find out where you can get support with your application.

  2. Have you completed the Application for Disability Benefits under the Quebec Pension Plan?
  3. Have you sent in the Application for Disability Benefits under the Quebec Pension Plan?
  4. Have you completed the Medical Report form?
  5. Have you been approved for disability benefits under the QPP?
  6. You are at the end of the steps

Important information about benefits for Indigenous Peoples

If you are Indigenous there are many things that affect the benefits you can get and the dollar amounts you can get from them. These include the agreements your band or governing body has with provincial, territorial, and federal governments. Before applying to any benefits, you should speak with your governing body, if applicable.
