Step 1 - Canada Disability Benefit

Here is how you can apply for the CBD without an application code

You will need:

• Your Social Insurance Number
• Mailing address
• Proof of status in Canada
• Net income (line 23600) from your 2024 notice of assessment
• Direct deposit information

You can apply in four ways:

1. Through the online application portal
   Apply online here

2. In-person
   At any Service Canada Centre.

3. By phone
   Call 1-833-486-3007.
   Hours of operation: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm local time, Monday to Friday.

4. By mail
   Mail a completed Canada Disability Benefit application form or the Canada Disability Benefit Legal Representative application form.
   You can also drop it off at a Service Canada office.

If you have not received a letter

You can still apply by providing:

• Your mailing address
• The net income (line 23600) from your 2024 notice of assessment
• Confirmation of legal status in Canada
