How to apply
The application process for the Canada Disability Benefit will open on June 20, 2025. You can apply for the Canada Disability Benefit in three ways:
- Through the online application portal
- In-person at any Service Canada Centre
- By Phone at 1-833-486-3007
The hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm local time, Monday to Friday.
Individuals approved for the Disability Tax Credit will receive a letter enclosing an application code and instructions on how to apply. To apply you will need the following:
- Social Insurance Number
- Direct Deposit Information
If you have not received a letter, you can still apply by providing
- your mailing address
- the net income (line 23600) from your 2024 notice of assessment.
